Voices is a vibrant performance that blends dance, song, and stories to celebrate diversity and foster connection. This work explores how communal traditions of dance and song drive resistance, empowerment and transformation in communities.
Co-created by Zoe Katsilerou, Tanya Richam-Odoi, Bobak Champion, Tara Fetehi, Aine Reynolds, and Alex McCabe, Voices celebrates cultural exchange and artistic collaboration. Performers bring their unique heritages to the stage, blending Greek, Scottish, Irish and Iranian dance traditions. The result is a vibrant celebration of diversity and joy. Every movement carries the weight of history, revealing our shared need for creative expression and connection.

Songs from around the world form the heartbeat of the performance, creating a space where voices merge in harmony and defiance. The audience is not just watching—they are part of the experience. Through this participatory performance, they are invited to listen, sing, and move, adding their voice to a collective outcry.
Roma Voices

A key strand of Voices is its collaboration with the Roma community in Bradford (European Drom), which will culminate in a separate performance. Their traditions come to life through Roma music, dance, and storytelling. Their work honours the resilience and cultural creativity of the Roma people, ensuring their voices are amplified and celebrated.
